Community meeting Wednesday about changes at Chesley Hospital

A public meeting has been arranged to inform residents about changes to the Emergency Department at the Chesley site of South Bruce Grey Health Centre.

The emergency room is moving to reduced operating hours on September 21 due to a nursing staff shortage.

People can find out more at a community information session on Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chesley Community Centre.

SBGHC staff, physicians, and Bruce County Paramedic Service representatives will be on hand to provide information to the community.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
