The Listowel native is coming off being named both OHA Player of the Year, and as well as PJHL MVP and Defenceman of the Year.
Collinson had 64 PTS (16 G, 48 A) in 42 Regular Season games last season. He also tallied 27 PTS (11 G, 16 A) in 16 playoff contests.
Logan Tolten, Rhys Vollmer and Kyle Stanbury will serve as alternate captains.
