Public meeting in Clinton Tuesday for input into county's Official Plan

Huron County planners are looking for public input into a five-year review of their official plan.

The first in a series of three public meetings takes place Tuesday night at the Libro Hall in Clinton.

Planner Monica Walker-Bolton says one of the big issues is trying to create more opportunities for housing in the county.  That would apply specifically to higher density housing like duplexes, semi-detached and even apartments buildings.

Tuesday night's meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Libro Hall in Clinton. A second meeting is scheduled for the Exeter Legion Hall on Thursday, September 19.

The third public meeting will be in the Hot Stove Lounge of the North Huron Wescast Community Centre in Wingham on Wednesday, September 25.  hose meetings also start at 7 p.m.
