Police investigating break-in, theft at local landfill

Police are investigating a break-in and theft from a local landfill site.

On September 9, South Bruce OPP received a report of a break-in at the landfill office along Side Road 15 in the Municipality of Kincardine. Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on September 8 and 1 a.m. on September 9, suspects forcibly entered the office and stole a quantity of cash.

Police are actively investigating, and anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
