Stolen vehicle set on fire in West Perth

OPP officers from West Perth along with firefighters were called out to a vehicle fire south of Mitchell.

The minivan was found fully engulfed in flames at about midnight Monday on Road 160 near Line 26.

The vehicle fire was extinguished quickly and no one was found in or near the vehicle.

The vehicle was later determined to have been stolen from a residence in South Huron.

Perth County OPP officers continue to investigate the incident and ask anyone that may have information contact police at 1-800-310-1122. Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
