Vandalism along trails in Walkerton continues

Someone is still tagging trees along the West River Trail and Rail Trail in Walkerton.

The graffiti was first reported to South Bruce OPP in July.

Police said the mischief distracts municipal staff from other projects and could result in jail time for the offender.

On Wednesday, police renewed their call for anyone with information on the vandalism to call police or Crime Stoppers.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
