Owen Sound police charge teacher with sexual assault

Owen Sound police officers are investigating allegations of sexual misconduct involving a teacher with the Bluewater District School Board.

On Thursday, the Criminal Investigations Branch arrested 43-year-old Kristopher Seaman of Owen Sound in connection with historical allegations of sexual assault involving a minor.

As a result of this investigation, Seaman is facing criminal charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation and will appear in Owen Sound court on Friday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
