Major expansion announced for Harbour Hill facility in Goderich

The Harbour Hill Retirement Community in Goderich has announced the construction of Phase Two of their facility on Suncoast Drive.

Phase Two will contain 75 new suites.

Readiness Facilitator Mark Bennett said 63 of the 64 suites in Phase One at Harbour Hill are now occupied.

"Along with the 75 units, we're building a movie theatre, a full-size bar, a pool table, shuffleboard tables, and so, a lot of activities."

Bennett said they're looking at a completion date of a little over a year from now.

"Goderich is a great place to retire to, we've got the lake, we've got great activities around and it's such a beautiful facility and there's lots to do," he said.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
