Handgun produced outside Exeter gas station

Huron County OPP have issued an advisory about a suspect they believe is armed and dangerous.

It stems from an incident at a gas station on Main Street North in Exeter around 9:15 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators have learned the driver of a Volkswagen Passat pulled up and parked in the fuel bay area while a passenger from the vehicle entered the store and made a routine purchase.

The passenger returned to the car, and as it was leaving the gas station, the driver is alleged to have pointed a handgun in the direction of the store employee and a customer in the store.

The car sped off, heading south on Highway 4.
