Power restoration efforts continue in the region

Hydro one continues to restore power to customers who were affected during Thursday night's storm.

Power has been restored to approximately 225,000 customers in total. About 8,900 customers are currently without power, with 200 of those in the Southern region.

Crews made significant process overnight and into the morning, but will still need to repair 22 poles that were damaged throughout the region.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
