Huron OPP seeks witnesses to fatal crash

Huron County OPP continues to investigate a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred last week near Centralia.

Huron OPP officers are trying to determine the sequence of events that led to the crash, after learning that other vehicles were indirectly involved in the collision.

OPP are asking any witnesses to contact them, as they seek to identify and interview the driver of a vehicle that took evasive action to avoid the crash.

75-year-old James McIntyre of Middlesex Centre Township was killed as while stopped to make a left turn from Highway 4 northbound, just north of Mount Carmel Drive. His vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer at about 6:30 a.m. last Tuesday morning.
