Saugeen Shores hosts Lamont Sports Park Information Session

Saugeen Shores residents can attend a public information session about some proposed concepts for the new Lamont Sports Park.

Saugeen Shores won $250,000 in the Kraft Heinz Project Play contest and will use the cash to develop the park.

The Lamont Sports Park project will feature amenities for all ages in addition to sports fields, with discussions underway for new accessible trails and an accessible playground.

Residents can take a look at proposed layout drawings and amenities for the project.

The information session is being held on Wednesday and it begins at 6:30 at the Rotary Hall at the Plex.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
