UPDATE: Victim of fatal crash identified

Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash on Perth Line 16, between Mitchell and St. Marys.

Police, fire and paramedics responded to the call at around 6:20 a.m. on Friday.

The lone occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as 62-year-old William Brown of the Municipality of West Perth.

The OPP's Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) unit attended the scene and has and completed the investigation. Perth Line 16 is now open to traffic.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
