CKNX Relief Truck Christmas campaign starts Friday

CKNX AM920 morning host Buzz Reynolds is moving this week.

Buzz is relocating from the warm and welcoming CKNX Radio studio and his comfortable home to a cold and empty 53-foot tractor trailer. The trailer is parked at Dean’s Valu-Mart in Wingham.

Buzz will live in there, and broadcast his morning radio show from there until that trailer -- and possibly a second trailer -- is full of non-perishable food items.  All donations of food and cash go to food banks across Huron County.

There will also be a trailer parked at Kaufman's Valu-Mart in Walkerton, and the goal is to fill that trailer for the Walkerton Food Bank.  Buzz will also be broadcasting from the trailer in Walkerton.

This is the fifth year for the CKNX Relief Truck Christmas campaign.  Individuals, service clubs, schools, sports teams, businesses, and corporations are invited to get involved again this year.

The Buzz Reynolds morning show can be heard 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. weekdays on CKNX AM920.
