Midwestern Ontario residents can sign petition for new bus service

The City of Owen Sound will offer twice-daily bus service between the Owen Sound Transit Terminal and Guelph Central Station starting in January.

Stops will be offered along the way in several municipalities including the Township of Chatsworth in Chatsworth and Williamsford, Municipality of West Grey in Durham, Township of Wellington North in Mount Forest and Arthur, and Township of Centre Wellington in Fergus and Elora.

As part of the licence application for this route, the Ontario Highway Transport Board is requiring residents to sign a petition in support of this service. Petitions will be available until Wednesday, December 4th.
