Perth Wellington Seniors Active Living Centres get funding

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece has announced a nearly $177,000 investment in four Seniors Active Living Centre Programs in the riding.

Pettapiece said it's part of the plan to help Ontario’s seniors stay active, healthy, independent, and socially connected to their communities. He added it will help seniors overcome financial barriers or social isolation.

The North Perth Seniors Centre will receive $22,000, while Spruce Lodge Home for the Aged gets nearly $53,000.

The Friendship Centre for St. Marys & Area Seniors will see $49,418 in funding, and the Stratford Kiwanis Community Centre will use $52,727 for the Active Living Centre Programs.
