Local company supports Walkerton Fire Department

Walkerton Fire Department is planning to purchase a remote monitor for the tanker pumper truck.

It removes large amounts of water very quickly and enhances firefighter safety.

It will also improve the ability to apply water with limited manpower as the equipment can be safely activated and manned by a single firefighter.

Marvin Freiburger & Sons Inc. has generously donated $1,000 toward the monitor.
