Employee charged after threat to Fergus business

Charges have been laid against a Fergus woman after a business in Fergus received a bomb threat last month.

On November 19, the OPP responded to a threat against a business on St. David Street North in Fergus.

A note was found, indicating that there was a "bomb" in the business.  The building was evacuated and searched until it was determined that the threat was a hoax.

Following an investigation, police have charged 63-year-old Marjorie Anne Gray with uttering threats, falsifying information and mischief. She was an employee of the business.

She is scheduled to appear in court in Guelph on January 14.
