Perth East crash under investigation

Two people were sent to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Perth Line 43.

Emergency services attended the crash on Saturday shortly before 11 a.m.

Two people were transported to hospital; one with life-threatening injuries, the other with minor injuries.

OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are currently assisting.

OPP closed Perth Line 43  between Perth Roads 107 and 108 around 11:14 a.m. as the investigation continued. The roadway was re-opened around 5:35 p.m.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area. Updates will be provided when available.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
