Puppies stolen from rural property in Wellington County

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police say they are investigating after a theft of puppies.

On Friday, 19 puppies were stolen from a farm on Sideroad 11 in Pilkington Township.

The dogs are approximately 10 weeks old, and include three red Golden Doodles, 4 Golden Doodles, and 12 Black Lab/Shepherd/Doodle mixes.

The complaintant notes they had placed an ad on Kijiji and had received several inquiries regarding the puppies.

Anyone with information on this theft can contact Wellington County OPP, or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
