UPDATE: Serious crash near Arthur, highway now open

**Updated as of 5:00 p.m. December 18**

A collision north of Arthur Wednesday morning has sent two drivers to hospital with serious injuries.

Two vehicles collided shortly after 8 a.m. on Highway 6.

Drivers from an SUV and a car were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Highway 6 between Side Road 9 and Side Road 10, north of Arthur was closed for a police investigation. The police have confirmed on Twitter the roadway is now open.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
