Burst water pipe leads to flooding at school in Dundalk

Highpoint Community School in Dundalk says a burst water pipe caused extensive flooding in six classrooms on Thursday.

The school asked students to come to the school today before 3:20 p.m. to come and pick up personal items and access lockers while being escorted by staff.

The school's Facebook page says they are currently utilizing 23 dehumidifiers and 100 blowers to help remove water from the school, it's expected to remain closed until fully restored by the end of holidays on January 6th.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
