Vehicle drives into front entrance of Stratford Cinemas

Police are investigating a theft at Stratford Cinemas on Friday morning.

The building's alarm went off shortly before 5:30 a.m. as a driver drove a vehicle through the front doors of the building, gathering up cash registers before chaining up an ATM and driving away with the entire unit.

It's estimated more then $3,000 in cash was taken during the theft.

The building's front entrance has been boarded up, but on Facebook, management says they are examining the possibility of opening up this evening.

No word on suspect information.
