Hockey players donate to local oncology unit

Some local Wingham minor hockey players made a wonderful donation to the local hospital.

Local players from many levels of minor hockey managed to raise and donate $375 to the Wingham and District Hospital Oncology Unit. The players all donated money to have a special sticker on their helmets back in October. The stickers were donated by Ang Benninger at A&G Graphic Design and recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

All the players wanted to keep the funds local and decided to donate the money toward local cancer care in Wingham.
