United Way Perth Huron fundraising campaign going well

The Huron Perth United Way entered the New Year with its fundraising campaign sitting at 75 per cent.

The $1.633 million target is 11 per cent higher than last year, as the United Way tackles homelessness as its major campaign theme.

Half of the households in Perth-Huron earn less than the current living wage of $17.55 an hour.

The fundraising drive continues through the end of March.
