Goderich resident charged with fraud after using stolen credit card

A Goderich resident has been charged after she was allegedly caught making purchases with a stolen credit card.

On Boxing Day, officers received a report of a wallet stolen in Goderich.

A purchase attempt was made at a business in Goderich later that day, and the owner of the card was notified.

Following an investigation, officers identified a suspect and she was arrested on January 1.

A 26-year-old woman from Goderich is charged with one count of fraud under $5,000, she will appear in Goderich court on February 3.
