Bluewater District School Board gives update on next week's OSSTF/ETFO strike action

Bluewater District School Board has given an update on next week's potential strike action from the Ontario Secondary School Teacher's Federation.

Bluewater has now been included in the planned one day strike for Wednesday, January 15th by OSSTF members, and as a result, all schools in Bluewater District will be closed that day, unless an agreement is worked out by the provincial government and the union.

In terms of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario, they plan on beginning a work-to-rule campaign beginning Monday, January 13, but this will not affect the board's ability to keep schools open that day.
