Dentist with patients in Lucknow and Hanover one of victims in plane crash

A dentist who had patients in Lucknow and Hanover was one of the many Canadians who lost their lives in the Ukranian Airlines crash in Iran.

Parisa Eghbalian was a dentist at Grundy's Family Dental Care in Lucknow and Hanover.

Her husband, 42-year old Hamed Esamaeilion, also a dentist, worked as part of the group at Saugeen Dental.

Their nine-year-old daughter Reera also died in the crash and at one time attended Dawnview Public School.

The family settled in the GTA 9 years ago and has a practice in Richmond Hill. Eghbalian also had patients in Guelph and other areas in southwestern Ontario.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
