Police charge two firefighters in Kincardine crash

Two firefighters are facing charges in connection with the rollover of a fire truck in Kincardine.

South Bruce OPP said on Friday that the 54-year-old driver has been charged with careless driving and his 33-year-old passenger is charged with failing to wear a seat belt.

Back on October 24, 2019, OPP officers found the fire truck on its side in a ditch along Bruce Avenue.

A passenger in the truck had to be taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
