Two young adults facing stunt driving charges after traffic stops in Perth County

Two people in Perth County were charged with stunt driving over the weekend.

Drivers can be charged with stunt driving when operating a vehicle in excess of 49 kilometres per hour over the speed limit.

A 19-year-old from Grey County and a 20-year-old from Wellesley Township were both charged by Perth County Ontario Provincial Police.

The penalties from stunt driving include six demerit points, a fine over $2,000, a possible extended driver's license suspension and up to six months in jail.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
