Owen Sound residents urged to move vehicles from downtown streets for snow removal

The City of Owen Sound is reminding residents to move any vehicles parked in the downtown core as the city begins snow removal operations.

The city said that winter overnight parking restrictions are now in place, and any vehicles interfering with snow removal activities may be towed.

Snow removal will begin on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Signage will be posted indicating snow-clearing operations are ongoing, which are being coordinated by city staff.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
