Police investigating theft at Lucknow gas station

Huron County Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a theft last month near Lucknow.

Officers responded to an alarm call at a gas station on Amberley Road in the early morning hours of January 17.

Upon arrival, the officers noted two doors had been pried open.

The suspect had already fled the scene by the time police arrived.

An undisclosed quantity of cash was stolen.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
