Road work near Inglis Falls

Traffic won't be allowed on parts of Inglis Falls Road starting on Monday, February 10.

The road, which is in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, and south of Harrison Park, is being reconstructed. There will also be work on the retaining wall that runs along part of the road that will be closed to traffic until February 21.

Moorefield Excavating is doing the work and has been granted to close a section of Inglis Falls Road to help best respect the environment and to make sure provincial requirements are met. That includes removing marked trees and vegetation as approved by the NEC and GSCA.

The rest of the work is anticipated to begin in April 2020 and done by the end of October.
