Perth County OPP, the Perth East Fire Department and Perth County paramedics were called to the farm on Line 51 on Saturday.
A police investigation determined a bale of straw fell on the victim while he was in a barn. The victim, 42-year-old Timothy Wagler, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is considered accidental.
