A winter's drive to start the week

A blanket of heavy, wet snow is covering most of Midwestern Ontario Monday morning.

Snowfall amounts exceeded five centimetres in the area.

Plows and sanders are out on their regular patrols and visibility across the region is being reported as good.

Road conditions will vary with main highways and more travelled roads as partial snow-covered to bare with slippery sections.

Secondary roads will be more snow-covered to snow-packed.
