Police search for truck thieves in Mount Forest

The Wellington County OPP has released a video of the theft of a pick-up truck.

Police said officers found an abandoned truck idling on Wellington Street East in Mount forest around 4 a.m. on Tuesday. They discovered the truck had been stolen from a home on Durham Street East about three hours earlier. Nearly $3,000 in tools had been taken from the truck.

The suspects were caught on a home surveillance camera taking the truck and police have released that video in a bid to find those responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
