Influenza outbreak continues at Stratford General Hospital

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is still dealing with an influenza outbreak at Stratford General Hospital.

The health alliance said on Friday that the outbreak is on the Medicine Unit.

Visitors are welcome but the health alliance has asked that they follow posted instructions and limit their interactions to one patient per visit. If you visit a patient with influenza you will have to wear a mask, gloves and gown. You should also use the hand sanitizer provided when entering and leaving a patient's room and when entering and leaving the hospital.

Anyone who is not feeling well is asked not to visit the hospital until 72 hours after their symptoms clear.
