Road accident causes damage to local town sign

One of the Teeswater town signs was damaged over the weekend.

South Bruce Mayor Robert Buckle confirmed that someone lost control of a half-ton pick-up and hit the sign, making contact with the back part of the truck. The sign was moderately damaged but no one was hurt and the incident was not intentional or sinister in nature.

Mayor Buckle said that insurance will cover the cost of replacing the sign.
