OPP lay drug charges after attending two neighbouring properties

Two neighbouring properties in Goderich were the destination for Huron County OPP.

On Friday, police were able to execute two different search warrants on Huron Road, at side by side residences.

More than $5100 in methamphetamine was seized from the first residence.

They also seized cash, ammunition, three replica pellet handguns, and a pellet rifle.

Two people are facing charges: a 34-year-old man from Goderich and a 27-year-old woman from Kincardine.

At the second residence, police seized over $3,600 worth of methamphetamine, hydromorphone pills, and buprenorphine pills.

Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia, cash, cell phones and digital scales.

Four people are facing charges: a 47-year-old woman, 23-year-old woman, and a 33-year-old man all from Goderich, and a 34-year-old man of no fixed address.

All are expected to appear in court on April 6th.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
