Winter holding on

Snow is expected to begin Tuesday evening before becoming heavy near midday on Wednesday.

Heavy snow will continue through Wednesday afternoon and evening before tapering to flurries Wednesday night. There remains much uncertainty regarding the track of this low, but total snowfall amounts near 15 cm are possible by Thursday morning. Strong winds are expected as well.

The storm being pushed by what's called a Texas low and is expected to affect a large swath of southern Ontario. The special weather statement blankets most of the southern part of the province with various amounts of accumulation.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
