Big Lotto win for Bruce County family

A family of three from Paisley and Toronto can now realize some dreams thanks to a $1 million Maxmillions Lotto Max prize.

Margaret and Gordon Gledhill of Paisley and Travis Gledhill of Toronto won in the February 18th Draw.

"It's unbelievable," shared Travis, 42, while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up their cheque.

Margaret, 68, discovered the group's win using the OLG Lottery App.

"I called Travis right away and said, 'I think we won a million dollars!'" she said with a laugh.

Travis plans on purchasing a new pair of glasses.

"We're pretty practical people," he said. "We will use our money wisely."

"It’s still surreal. We keep looking at each other and laughing," said Gordon, 72.

The winning ticket was purchased at Giant Tiger on Goderich Street in Port Elgin.
