Saugeen Shores Police have confirmed they have located a Port Elgin woman previously reported as missing.
A 57-year-old woman was reported missing after last being seen on the night of March 5th around 7:30 p.m. in Southampton. In an afternoon release on March 6th, Saugeen Shores Police Sergeant Andrew Evans says police have located the woman and that she was safe.
Saugeen Shores Police are thanking media and the public for their assistance.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
