High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Grey-Bruce OPP are investigating following the theft of a recreational trailer from a property.
On March 31 at 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen trailer at a property located at Side Road 1 in the Township of Chatsworth. The victim said the trailer was stolen sometime between March 30 at 7 p.m. and March 31 at noon.
The trailer is a 2003 Forest River Rockwood 2501 with an attached Ontario licence plate D6757F. Police determined that unknown suspects cut the lock securing the trailer hitch.
Anyone with information regarding this theft should contact Grey-Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
