UPDATE: Grey Bruce Health Unit reports new cases of COVID-19

Two more new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Grey Bruce.

A female in her 40s and another in her 50s have tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. The two women are self-isolating.

On Saturday it was reported that a female in her 80s and a male in his 60s had tested positive for the virus, and both are self-isolating. The report did not specify how they contracted the virus.

There have been 21 cases reported in the two counties to date, 8 of whom have recovered.

Currently, one case is related to Long-Term care facilities while six cases are related to health care workers.

11 negative test results were received on Sunday.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit says data on individual cases may no longer be reported as case counts continue to rise.
