Motorcyclist dies in three-vehicle crash

One person is dead and two others have been injured following a three-vehicle crash north of Fergus that involved two motorcycles.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on Friday shortly before 4:15 p.m., the two motorcycles were travelling east on Wellington Road 19 when they collided with a pickup truck at Sixth Line.

A male driver who was operating one of the motorcycles was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He has since succumbed to his injuries.

A female motorcycle rider and the driver of the pickup truck both suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
