Single-vehicle crash downs hydro lines, closes road

A single-vehicle crash has caused some issues in Perth County Tuesday afternoon.

Perth County OPP are on-scene after a vehicle crashed into a hydro pole on Perth Line 33. There are downed hydro lines as a result.

Police have closed Perth Line 33 from Road 108 to Road 109.

The lone occupant of the vehicle has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Drivers should avoid the area for now. There is no estimate on when the roadway may reopen, as extensive repairs must be done to the hydro lines as crews respond.
