Police seize drugs from parked vehicle in Saugeen Shores

Just over $17,000 worth of fentanyl was seized by police when Saugeen Shores were called about a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the rail trail on Concession 6.

Police found two people in the vehicle just before 10 a.m. on Thursday morning.

A male and a female were arrested.

Other drugs seized included methamphetamine, Oxycodone and cocaine along with cash.

A 36-year old Georgina Bluffs man and 28-year old Tiverton woman both face multiple charges.

Names haven't been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
