Threshers in Blyth cancelled

The 2020 Huron Pioneer Threshers Show in Blyth is cancelled.

In an email to CKNX News, President Judy Sloan said that the Board of Directors unanimously voted to cancel the event because of the COVID-19 pandemic. And the health and safety of members, volunteers and guests was a top priority.

Organizers are now looking towards 2021 for the 60th Reunion.

In the meantime, the annual heritage book is being printed and pick-up times will be posted at www.blythsteamshow.com and more information can also be found on the event's Facebook page.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
