Outbreak at long term care home in Lion's Head over

A COVID-19 outbreak at a long term care home in Lion's Head is over.

Dr. Ian Arra, Medical Officer of Health for Grey Bruce, made the announcement early Saturday evening that the outbreak at Golden Dawn was over.

In the latest summary on Saturday, there were no new cases of COVID-19 reported in Grey Bruce and a total of 77 recovered cases out of the 91 reported.

Testing and case counts reported as of 15:30 hrs, May 16, 2020:

· 0 new cases reported in past 24 hours in Grey Bruce

· 91 cases to date (current cumulative total)

· 0 cases currently hospitalized

· 0 deaths

· 77 recovered cases

· 23 cases reported in Health Care Workers working in Grey Bruce

· 2 facilities in COVID-19 outbreak Reported in Long-Term Care/Retirement Homes (Brucelea Haven in Walkerton, Parkview Manor in Chesley)
