UPDATE: Police investigate fatal motorcycle crash near Listowel

Perth County OPP are investigating a single-vehicle crash near Listowel that resulted in a fatality.

Police were called shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Sunday to a crash involving a motorcycle on Line 87, east of Road 176. The driver, 21-year old Jordan Sinclair Hill from North Perth was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

Line 87 was closed for several hours between Road 175 and Road 176, while members of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team assisted with the investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
